am i the first to have a problem with the husqvarna 550 mk2

so my husqvarna mk2 has gone back to the dealer with a problem it was working fine doing some firewood the next day at work clearing some regen in the forestry it started playing up u rev it and it would hold high rpm once u let go of the throttle quite scary i thought it was gonna blow up bogging and a little backfire as if the carb auto tune was playing up fuel issue for sure thank god its under warranty its been a brilliant saw and i thought husqvarna had nailed it with this its been my go to everyday saw for the last few months and has been faultless lets hope it can be fixed as its not even a year old

Not seen many problems at all, there will always be odd issues as it is a mechanical product, I have seen two with spark arrestors blocked, very strange, but on the hold very reliable.

Yep just spoked to the dealer new carb under warranty hopefully be fixed today can someone tell me do u need to recalibrate the new carb once u put it on or is it just a case of putting it on and ready to go

New carb will have no software on it, so when fitted it will have to be plugged into cst to get the software, all previous information will be lost.

Piston ring pin came out on mine after a couple of months (used daily forestry work) dealer fixed under warranty, but I do worry it’ll go again, dealer said they’ve had a few do it but more with 560s
