Metal conditioner

Dunno Mark,  i bought a gallon of metal restorer from Machine Mart, its very good. But its just phosphoric acid, cleans rust off and coats steel with a layer of iron phosphate which doesnt rust. Cannot imagine how that would help chains?  K

Look online for metal brite, all pretty much the same product, but can be bought much cheaper from industrial suppliers.
