Metal conditioner

So just reading this add for this metal conditioner that reckons it stops chains blades etc from blunting ,it sounds like good stuff but is it just a gimic so have any of you ever used anything like this sort of thing

Dunno Mark,  i bought a gallon of metal restorer from Machine Mart, its very good. But its just phosphoric acid, cleans rust off and coats steel with a layer of iron phosphate which doesnt rust. Cannot imagine how that would help chains?  K

Cutting lubricant will extend life of drills but that add sounds too good to be true, and probably is.

I have completely dun away with all my chains and just use " metal conditioner " to cut with now a days .

....and I did notice wot a glossy coat and wet nose it gave you too, Mr Stubby .

Look online for metal brite, all pretty much the same product, but can be bought much cheaper from industrial suppliers.

That's metal conditioner Khriss , not mental conditioner matey .☺️
