I’m not suggesting it’s perfect mate, far from it, but it might help a bit and I really don’t see it as a big deal when popping into a shop.

Apologies for the name calling earlier.

I was still wearing them in the 90s, and would still be wearing them now if i could get away with it. They were very comfortable once you had broken them in. Irons like horse shoes on the sole and heel.
There were only a handful of clogmakers left locally by that time, and they tended to buy the soles in and build the tops on. £27 a pair at that time. Still one or two makers around , but they are nearer £200 a pair now .

I think you can still get them at New Model Army gigs .... [emoji41]

Its more New Rocks now @TIMON  *coff* not sayin i been or anything * coff coff*  K

It’s been a while.. still think the clogs were cooler and certainly more ‘authentic’ .
New Rocks are more the preserve of ‘mummy’s little antifa’ types.

Have noticed today that fast food drive through seems to be exempt from these rules?

.seems a bit strange as the staff get close enough to customers when handing over the orders but then if you order In store they will ask you to put the mask on ...

all a bit daft really.whole world gone mad

Tamar bridge was a hoot on Thursday.

Haven’t been across the river to England for ages.

Doris in the kiosk had a little stainless steel cup on a pole to collect the shekels.

Almost wee’d a drop when she poked it at me ?

It gets better, our kid recently took a pub that's got 4 letting rooms upstairs, wait for it Mr J. He's been told that he has to quarantine toilet rolls between let's because it can't be sanitised?

So here comes 24 hrs of news reporting interviews with Donna and Liam of the Benidorm brigade expressing horror, disbelief, shock and outrage because their £235 + 10 vouchers from the Daily Mirror 2 weeks in Spain has been “ruined” and “how can they afford 2 weeks self isolation” shocker because they thought it was a good idea to have a foreign holiday after the stress of 3 months on furlough.

What sort of moron would actually think a foreign holiday would be a good idea at the moment?

What sort of government would actually encourage / facilitate recreational foreign travel with things the way they are?

Really tapped into that rich seam of “common sense!”
