We are splitting  hornbeam into 1.2 mt lengths ready  to sell as firewood next season 2020/21.  Does hornbeam burn ok ,as long as it has been seasoned?/

Never had any to try myself but have heard its excellent stuff. Similar to beech I believe?

Best uk firewood.
Most calorific.
Better than oak,beech etc.
And dries pretty quickly if from coppice.
