I know a guy in France with a chipper on 200 hours. It's broken.

My last chipper was a Jensen 530 was coming up 1400 hours and was worn, but chipped fine. Still going strong don't know current hours

My mate has a tracked Jensen with about 3500 hours on it, still goes well but has had to have the chipper drum welded up because the chip has started to wear through it. No major issues before that.

However the paint will just about make it from the dealer to your lockup before flaking off ?

Yeh, I noted that. They all tend to look like Panzers dragged from a Polish swamp with a price tag to match.

Tw 190: 2500hours . New radiator, hole worn in discharge chute and needed new axle when I sold it. Still going strong.

jensun 328 tracked: 3500hours. Needed a few parts over 6 years we had it. Most expensive part maybe €250 to 300.  Still earning its keep for new owner
