Hello I'm new to the forum looking for some advice. I tried to post a say or so ago but it looks like I've posted wrong.

I was looking to purchase a new 360 but have been offered a 460 which is a couple of years old and worked approximately 100hrs and in excellent working order for similar money approximately 4k.

My question is which machine out if the two would you have and why?

Can any users out there tell me the Pros and Cons to each machine?

Is the 4k price of the used 460 reasonable?

The use us mainly domestic in line with my landscaping work.

Any advice be greatfully  received.

Thanks

I have a 360sw which has paid for itself several times over in the five years I’ve had it. Also considering a 460sw and that sounds like a reasonable price.

the weak points in the 360 are the brake arrangement is very poor and I always carry spare cables as they have a habit of snapping. I would check to see if the 460 has a better system?

the exhaust has shaken itself to bits a couple of times and I put an inline fuel filter in to stop carb problems. Also it won’t run on supermarket fuel - BP, Shell , Texaco etc only. Don’t know why but it’s happened too much to be a coincidence

oh yes, kohler engine, not honda as it can incline further before the oil level cut out switch engages
