Can you get step up transformers that give you more power, say 5000W from a 100volt feed?

It was at 100v. Drill probably was running slow.

 

We were trying to 'flash'  the alternator with the drill. (Some kind of black magic electrical voodoo trickery)

Yes that is a 110v to 240v and its a 3.3 kw which is 3300 w - really need to run a big item like a kettle on it which will give you a fair idea. If a 2kw kettle will boil it will rum a 3.3 kva step up transformer
