Not sure what the body is , might be poplar as its fairly light . neck is of " unknown origin and it still had the " paddle " head stock .  Just made the head stock into fender dimensions . Got a pair of Texas Specials to go in . These are bits I have had knocking around for some time Steve . Got a bit more time so .....

Damn...thanks to Mr Stubby, I now have a kit of bits and will assemble them in to what I hope will be a playable guitar. The body is light, the neck is surprising - two way truss rod, the frets look well set and level plus looks well finished but as all necks.....will do my own setup. All the metal parts are typical cheapo but should work OK once done.

If it plays OK and it is worth it, I will swap out the less good parts in time but should pass some time away during these desperate times.

Me and tommy been moving some of our machines about making room for a new saw this afternoon. 24X12 PLANER THICKNESSER AND 20 INCH TABLE SAW

That planer thicknesser looks like a proper bit of kit.
I missed out on a cracking Sedgwick 12 x 8 with twin single phase motors recently, I’d spunked too much money on a new shotgun just at that time so had to watch my mate snaffle it.

Schubert Pad/Stroke Sander/Linisher. Length of bed 7’ - sanding width 3’ approx...

Was looking at that earlier, I need to get 3 phase or a good generator at some point as some of this old machinery is just way better than what’s out there now.
