Small world, I’m in Chedd.

Black Lion is a regular walk in summer, lethal range of real ale and cider there, towpath always seems to have a few more bends on the way back!?

Where are you based in Chedd? You have some serious kit. I'm Moorlands Tree and Groundcare. What name do you trade under?

Yes, Arthur Shirley's house, yard next to Cellarhead light, big tanker fleet. My mate does lots of welding for them.

Me mun and dad used to kick about with Shirley at Bucknall Working Mans club back in the day.

Bollocks.

Aye, your attitude is.

This isn't an attack on us from China. If anything, based on reports from there, they did a bloody good job of containing it as far as they have done. And if the UK had taken their advice we'd potentially be in a more favourable position now.

Please don't turn this into an opportunity to incite hate.

That's enough of that thanks. It's a crap situation without stooping to racial slurs.

Really!!?? Really!!??

We in the west have collectively turned a blind eye to China's appalling record on human right, treatmeant  of animals and shocking lack of democracy for decades, because they provide us with cheap convenient products, but boy are we reaping our just desserts now!!!

Going forward I am going to make it my mission in life to never again buy Chinese products, it won't be easy, but I will be giving it my all to boycott them!!

I don't understand what you're trying to point out here. You've been buying Chinese rubbish, thereby supporting said human, animal and ecological rights abuses, and now you're mad at them for it?

Don't buy Chinese rubbish, I do the same, smart consumer decision. I don't understand how this makes 5 shires comment in any way acceptable...
