Ok boys and girls back to the main topic....will we the (SE) be getting any help? Well not so far as our government cannot decide which is the best way to do it,looks like end of the week now that something may be sorted but let’s not all hold there breath...it’s a difficult thing for the government to sort out but threatening us the people with a £30 fine isn’t going to help the situation one bit..I for one will keep working until I know that something is in place for me not to go

The government can't decide what to do?!! Too true but what a shitshow. They got in it for the jollies and now they can't handle it when it matters. I watched some of PMQ's today. Boris couldn't commit to anything questions about ppe for frontline staff, s/e help, rent evictions, confusion about who should and shouldn't work - all this with the muppet Hancock sat behind him like a nodding donkey. It might be a difficult job but when you take a position to lead the country wtf do you expect. All this and almost every shop you'd normally go in is open. A friend who's a paramedic is sure he's got it but can't be tested and they won't let him discontinue until it's confirmed but they've no testing kits and no ppe so he's basically passing it on. Until they can protect the people on the frontline the rest of it seems a complete waste of time. For a supposed 1st world country we're left wanting!

UK is  like a 3rd world country compared to how china has dealt with it and we had more warning and time to prepare.

China welded people into their apartments and when asked what they where to do if there was a fire they where told to be careful not to have a fire. More and more is emerging as to how china enforced inhumane and draconian measures to contain the virus. Should we have done the same? Maybe. But then the genie is out the bottle and the Government can more easily enforce such measures again. Is that something we want?

Well maybe harsh but a  goverments suppose to do its best to protect its citizens. Imagine the deaths and economic impact it it had  spread to 1 billion.

Don't think UK could  get away with using it as an excuse to restrict civil liberty after its finished. Similar measures were used during WW2.

A party political broadcast containing nothing but opinions which as we all know are like blah blah blah. Any government in this situation won’t keep all the people happy all the time, if he’d locked the whole country down weeks ago the outcry would have been off the scale, the current incumbents at number 10 are reacting as is everyone to a fluid situation based on the scientific advice available.

Tomorrow evening there will be an announcement about SE.
According to Boris this evening.

Andy Burnham hit the nail on the head today, the government need to make it clear what is happening with the SE, and implement it immediately.

China may have done a good job of locking people down granted- but It’ll be interesting to see what happens now they are relaxing the rules- I know what my money is on...
