Right, Im with ya now. :)

So with the pressure from the left. Would you not say that the Tories are doing a good job of keeping the needle in the middle? The packages for the vast majority of people on PAYE is rather good is it not? The Money being pumped into the NHS is rather good is it not? Potentially we'll be (maybe partially) re-nationalising the air and rail. Surely thats a lot of what you want politically? Its just done with more restraint, and not a willy-nilly hand out to the dross of society.

Nope, it sure does not. Hence my breath holding analogy. Its just something that has to be done in interim. But at a huge financial cost, one that will need paid back. Something that is not sustainable for any length of time. As Im sure you can understand.

They are just going to print money and inflate their way out of it, it’s plain to see that’s all they can do what with interest rates so low.

This is why Boris hasnt announced total lockdown (yet???!) the UK’s economy would take a massive battering to the point that it possibly couldnt sustain itself if the situation went on in to a period of months...... which it sounds like its going to.

Partially yes. But if you think there will not be a financial penalty to the everyday people in the UK you're in for a nasty shock.

You cant print money indefinitely without inflation going off the scale. We're not the US, our currency is not in global demand. There's not one shithole Ive worked that does not accept good old USD. wave a fiver at them and you've got a long walk home.

Maybe, its not how Im interpreting it though.

interesting. Perhaps in the works? I’d stay at this yard for 80 percent of my average three years net income, that sounds fair.
