Just to clarify, although misleadingly titled as such, this ALERT did not originate from the actual HSE. It was a term used in the principle contractors report...probably shudda been 'H&S' or 'SAFETY'

It's also a Mark 2. Wonder why it wasn't replaced in the recall 
It's a mk3 and there was no recall on the mk2, they just extended the warranty to 10 years. Back to the accident and pictures in question...the issue is the top plate spring has failed, nothing to do with the cam

Sorry, I meant that the picture wasnt a Mk 3, not the accident
