Buying dragging chains

I snapped my favourite old and slightly knackered chain the other day, so thought it time to look for a new one. Plus I’m not sure how they’re graded. They all seem a bit short (2/3 metres) and quite costly! Any suggestions for finding something in 20 foot/6 metre length that’ll take say 4 tons?

I was looking at basic chains on eBay the other day, to drag a harrow behind my tractor. There are loads on there, but the cheaper ones don't seem to be strength tested (at least not officially). But if you pay a fair bit more, you should get something there?

How about this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/10MM-Grade-100-Alloy-Steel-Short-Link-Chain-4-Ton-Lifting-Sling-4T-SWL-Tonne/401959676907?hash=item5d96a9ebeb:g:x2cAAOSwUHldzo4W

Go to a crane rigging supply place, they'll have huge rolls of grade 80 (lifting) and up, all sizes and all the hardware bits.

I used to get through lots of 7mm skidding chains. For a while I found a firm in Birmingham that would sell me "brothers" that one leg had failed LOLER test, they would sell the remaining legs cheap and I bought new Kuplex logging hooks.
