Managed a pair of hours this morning looking at a development site - then went for a fry up with the architect.

Back on the sofa by midday and waiting for the thunder & lightening to pass before going out to see a customer with an invoice & agree next stage of the job.

Raining til Thursday cop so staying indoors til Friday.

Struggling to get back into the swing of things....

You lead a hard life Kevin :D

Have been at the "real" job every day over the holidays, including the weekends, but did manage a 1/2 day on the logs on Saturday.

Planning a big weekend of tidying up and sorting my barn out this coming weekend.

It's been a 'thinking' day Gary....  Best done with a fry up and a lie down ?

I'm pretty sure that I've read some research that said 'thought processes' are inhibited after eating, something to do with blood supply and digestion reducing blood/oxygen to the brain.

So I'm calling you on that excuse :aetsch: :D

My first day back proper today, had a good run up to Christmas, 6 day week for six months after promising the missus a camper van for her birthday.

Got three months of the same booked in as she has changed her mind after stumbling across houses for sale in France, you can pretty much buy a detached farmhouse for the price of a camper, I’ll keep going with my head down for now.
