Yes, not in the last few weeks, but in the last 2-3 months. He's had a rough year. I'll message you.

i despise adverts so watch the BBC whenever i can and mute the adverts if i have no choice. i also record the programs to avoid the ad's and speed past them.

 

the license is for more than just the BBC so i guess the question is do you wish to watch TV or not.

What else does the licence pay for other than the BBC?

It also partly funds ITV channel 4 and S4C.  As well as loads of radio of course and one of the world’s largest websites.

S4C are in 'partnership'witn the BBC, just have a look at the percentage of the take S4C get. Does the licence just fund BBC radio stations or do they fund independent radio stations?

I have no idea.  Incidentally I think the license fee is outdated and needs to be replaced.

Take a look, a token gesture to a Welsh speaking tv station, not that there is anything wrong with that doesn't really cut the mustard.
