AJ v Ruiz 2 ...

Antony Joshua did what he had to do to get his belts back . He did a bit of a Tyson Fury on him , boxed at length and did not get drawn into trading bombs .  It looked like the weight AJ  shed was taken on board by Ruiz !  Not a thrilling spectical but job done . Thoughts any one ?

Didnt see all the fight but seemed very tactical as Joshua learned from his first fight that Ruiz was far too durable to knock out and Ruiz has more power than he does. I like Joshua but i feel if he ever fights the likes of Wilder or Fury he would come unstuck. I dont feel he is half as durable as others around and doesn't quite have the power.

He’s learnt a bit of ring craft but Fury would make take him apart and Wilder would just blow him apart. He’s learnt that speed and muscles aren’t everything.

IMHO Wilder can't box . (that was proven when he " drew " with Fury ) . He does have tremendous one shot power and if he lands it in the sweet spot  its good night .  Ortiz rocked him in both fights and he hung on until he recovered , then fired the Exocet ! .  It would be interesting to say the least . He has been ducking AJ for a long time but I feel his confidence is up especially when AJ lost to Ruiz the first time so maybe we will see it . How knows .

Apparently the contracts are so tight that there is no chance AJ will fight Fury or Wilder next year. he will have to do a madatory defence tho, but it isn't likely to be these 2.

But who is left for the mandatory ?  Dillian  Whyte  again ?  Delboy ? Povetkin is done , Ortiz too old ,  Daniel Dubois  perhaps ?

If AJ comes up against Dubois at some point its all over for him Dubois has some seriously heavy hands and i think is a future champion ?
