Anyone running a log splitter on Sherpa agri , which model and how is it? Cheers

I have a 20t one- runs fine. Obviously the bigger the ram the slower the stroke, but the more power.

Sherpa flow is 20 litres a minute, and a bit more pressure than your average beaver pack which is noticeable. The beaver packs with a 13hp Honda put out 30 LPM, at a lower pressure.

All log splitter are much of a muchness. A 10t one would be nice and quick, but might struggle on bigger lumps. You pays your money your takes your choice really.

Thanks for the reply, which model/make have you got? Are the oxdale ones any good ? Or are they more or less the same thing just different colour paint? , Cheers

Lee - I’ve got a hydraulic Oxdale splitter you are welcome to borrow to see if it works on your Sherpa before you spend your hard-earned on one mate.

I saw the show deals they had for the current Sherpas at the APF and thought that they were actually decent discounts, not the common thing with shows where it’s basically normal price and you have to carry it miles round a field. And now it all makes sense.
