Log delivery vehicles

Ifor trailer GD85 or BX105 but in vented bags not loose,  just roll the bag on a pallet off the back with a pump truck.  But 50% of the bags dont come back.

Bateson 8x5 high sided tipper, still going strong after 16 years. Holds 3.75 cubic metres. For silly large deiliveries the largest IW tipper (12 x 6ft 6) with high sides, althought never had a log delivery that big to do, just wood chip so far in that one.

Single cab Hilux with greedy boards and Loadhandler. Takes 2 cube and just legal if they are unseasoned. The weight of a tipper back would give me a miserly payload

Very smart but 1400kg for 4 cube leaves little margin if bone dry logs. Presuming the 1400kg is payload excluding the tipper. Do you not have oil level rising problems with the Dmax

Yeah, it's very close. I wouldn't want to weigh every load of Beech or Oak. ;)

Most our loads are smaller anyway but a bigger back gives you the option and makes loading and sheeting easier. 

Never had any issues with the oil level on either pickup (80k miles and 19k so far) and I don't remember any other issues except one clutch and we change brake pads quite a lot. They've been very reliable and there's 5 year warranty anyway.

Is this the truck with the 4m3 back?  Air suspension I have not had dealings with - what is the principle, benefits and additional cost if you don't mind me asking?
