Thanks Rough .  He has bounced back this morning . Eating like normal . Not keen on the lampshade he has to wear for a bit . I think he will go on for a good few years yet . I think the cancer was only the outer edge of his ears . My last cat lived till he was 26 and then had to be put down as he started having fits . Organ failure they said .

Just a couple of our cat family. Pikachu a part Bengal found in a drier at a launderette as a kitten and Monty doing his otter impression and waiting for a belly rub.

The local kids turned up with this little girl, which they'd found dumped in the woods as a kitten. They named her Sonika but also call her sonic. She terrorises all the male cats and the rotties when inclined, so she's also known as Taz or the She Devil.

The Kids.  They were two of four found in an olive grove in a plastic bag, wet and cold, with a bottle of milk and a syringe in the south of Spain.  My wife stayed up with them all night (she was staying with her mum at the time) but lost the other two.  We got them four months later.  Gin & Tonic my predictable wife called them ?  I couldn't bring myself to stand on the back doorstep at night calling out 'Gin...Gin...'  so to me they were Toots and Tweets.

Neither made their second birthday.  Roadkill...

The Girls.   Full sisters, again from the south of Spain though not the same source.  Full sisters, they arrived seven weeks apart and reunited like they'd never been separated.  Txiki (Basque for very small apparently) and Mini, who's smaller ?

How hard it is to take a good pic of a black cat!

If the kitten was a slab of wood you would say what a lovely burr grain!    Hang on, Burr rhymes with purr.  So Burr it is then!

I can't be doing with them, they take too much wildlife.

It is clear to see that there are some much loved kitts out there and many very loveable.

Still can't stomach the myself.
