Mini stump grinders.

Recommended Posts

I have an FSI b20 which I run along side my bandit zt. The fsi is the smallest grinder worth buying imo, unless you need a magnum...all these cheap grinders are a joke to use, and hard work too.

ive got a little rock grinder 6hp or so.

Hard work but can be picked up and turned sideways to go through doors etc.

Cracking machine and took a handful of stumps to pay for itself.

Not broken down yet and not useda  set of teeth up yet.

its hard work yes and last resort but if access it tight its their.

cost about a grand brand new.

that screwfix one looks dodgy as hell though!

A vile and expensive waste of money.

A used FSI B20 can be picked up for that and is a far far better proposition.

I tried out a Lumag type grinder, how anyone makes money from such a machine is beyond me.

Which is the lumag like, the Tmech or the screwfix?

Fair play Jose, I know someone who has a Rock grinder and it seems to work out for him on little stuff. I guess we all differ on how we work, what we want to spend, what our priorities are, how much effort we want to put in, how efficient we can be etc etc...
Suppose this is a bit of a pointless post, but wanted to make sure my original post didn't seem arrogant - in no way was it intended to be such

I bought a used Camon badged version of Rayco RG 13 about fourteen years ago .it has done every sort of stump for me .

it cost around €1500 at the time and is probably still worth €1000.

Well worth buying something built to last
