I will add- taking an angle grinder to said rollers after 6 months work will give rollers back their bite - OR as i have found with most company machines, too shagged,  a new roller set. The improvement in productivity astounds. K

Yes mine probably needs fresh rollers and a fresh main spring.....

Another thing / tip is to cut timber with an angle on so feeds I to the rollers better

Bet Jensen would rip me a new arsehole for new rollers!

( probly best not answer that Mr Stubby.........)

Trouble is once you get medieval with the rollers it increases the gap and changes it’s ability to pull in the stringy stuff.

Outweighed by the fact it drags twisted hawthorn into its maw like you eat Cornettoes ?  K

Thats a false dilemma Khriss, you can touch up rollers lightly, and have pull-in power like new and keep its ability to eat the spindly stuff.

Seriously shagged rollers on Bandit 120 plus tight arsed boss times big load of Highways hawthorn equals 9" angry grinder. The tears of joy in the eyes of the lad the next day made my life complete. K

( i had a strange halo - like glow around my helmet the next day, according to him......)
