It's a harvester. Jesus that's cheap. I'd have had that off him for that price. Or more.

Yeh, I guessed it was cheap. The guy in Sweden bit his hand off. 😁

It’s got the Harvester Head on the now then swaps it out for the grab and goes back in and collects them all. Canny mind what he said he can lift with it close in. 3/4 of a ton maybe? Got a 1 ton log on the other day by lifting one end on first then the other.

Must be the biggest Oak I’ve had on the mill. 36” at the Butt end, 32” at the small end and 13.5’ long. The Avant was struggling to lift onto the Mill without the back end lifting off the deck.

Almost a shame to take 24” wide slabs out of it and not be able to get it on the Alaskan but needs must and my brother needed a 6”x8” beam.

And some rare White Red Deer on the Estate. The Stags where braver than the Hinds.

my photos are not like yours, the deer we used to see on Lomond where very wary and if you farted they where gone, we used to see them swimming from island now and then, and the other thing we so on Lomond was kangaroos yes kangaroos, when we first so them the lad who was with me, looked at me and said did you see that, i said yes i did, but when we get home dont tell anyone we so some Kangaroos on a island on Loch Lomond, they will lock us up and chuck the key away,,, But after doing a bit of reserch there is a colony of Walaby,s on one of the islands and they where put there as a experiment after the war,

Such a shame that the beautiful deer are the basic reason the Caledonian Pine Forest is a shadow of its former self.

Beautiful as the Scottish Highlands are they should be full of trees, not as naked as a naked thing.  As we have killed all the Deer's natural predators I guess it is up to us to hunt them enough to keep them in check.  Sustainable meat production I would say.

Down my way we have Deer, Grey squirrels and sheep to ensure natural regeneration is a rarity.  Sad really, and you try speaking out against the squirrels!
