Milling larch cladding would rather mill hardwood but cladding is a bit easier on the back

Milled this sycamore in Manchester today.

Found the obligatory nails and metal[emoji51]
A good set of slabs for projects.

I'm not sure what it is about sycamore that attracts the metal. Worst trees I've ever had had been sycamore.
 
Depends on the project, but unless you want nasty sticker marks and grey staining, you need to end rear that sycamore for 3-6 weeks.

It's going under a roof, either on it's side or standing, depending on space.

All destined for ringing up for the biomass boiler if I couldn't do it.
