Front loader log grab / brash grab

The grab Yorkshire Compact Tractors is showing looks better than the one I had on demo. Silage type grab is great for brash but can bend and break tines easily on big stuff.

Depends if it’s been tempered, the silage grab on the MO bends a lot, must be straight up mild steel, this one on the tractor doesn’t.

Is that a mower deck as well, looks like that tractor does it all!!!!

Mick did the Kubota loader come with 3rd service? Wondering how easy they are to retro fit. I have a Kubota 1153 loader.

I guess it must have, they just plumbed it into the loader/bucket system I think.

Changed the lever to accommodate a button for opening and shutting the grab.

I have a Fleming muck grab, it's very heavy duty, KV tines. Took the side plate tines off and it works great on brash, logs, old fencing etc. used it to get large boulders up after ploughing and no damage. £1400 new in 2012, on a JD 633 loader, wouldn't be without it now.

Went out and bought the kellfri log grab. Will be using it in anger week before xmas  see how I get on but looks a sturdy thing!

They are good but keep an eye on the main pivot bolts as come undone easily and end up very bent, also be prepared to beef up the ram stop on the frame as that's not the strongest but overall they seem very good grabs geometry wise as can nip stuff very well at the tips or sweep up and grip at the back as well.
