Front loader log grab / brash grab

Recommended Posts

Does anyone use anything like this on site with a front loader for both logs and brash?

How do you get on with them? are they ok for both?

Cheers

@finchyo was using one of a demo of a Multione and didn’t like it iirc.

Difficult to hold irregular logs, bits kept falling through.

I’d have though a silage grab type would be better.

I use one on my MultiOne I find it great for logs and If brash is the correct way no issue at all.

Which make or item do you use? Any pics? Many thanks

I opted for one of thiese & it does all I ask of it, it rolls brash up nicely & will lift logs well, I went for the single ram to keep weight down, think it was around £900 & but I had my own brackets made .

I use an Avant 423 and love it for logs and brush. The main reason for choosing the Avant over the multione is the backhoe on the Avant you stay sitting in your seat and can dive fron one stump to another, on the multione you have to keep getting out and sitting on the backhoe. Both great machine its just the Avant id better thought out
