Cool vid, goes to show how things are done diffently in differant parts of the world, i guess most of us wouldnt just "bounce" down big pieces of wood down from that hight over here, we would be lowering it and chogging the stem down, over there it's crash and bash and go home, nice when ya can do that. SWB would love it ........Crash.....Crash......crashty, Crash.

is it just me who thinks that there were a huge number of errors and near misses in that vid? Fine, he nearly dropped a top on the chipper at 2.20, but when he felled the butt it rolled out into the road and was completely uncontrolled: looked like it could have smashed that fire hydrant and probably knocked a few holes in the tarmac. Also they could have left a mat to drop the timber on as they blocked down the stem cos that ground looked gouged to hell. Combined with the nice PPE it looks like the sort of job a gyppo could be proud of.

it looked ok to me i dont think the tree top was as close to the chipper as it looked to be honest. Its fine pulling a job apart but we arnt in scene and yes the butt did roll but nothing was damaged and wat are a few dints in the grass its nothing to scream about in my oppinion that was a first class job.

Nothing gyppo about that ppe isnt a requirement as as others said in that heat it would be hard work.
