NPTC would this be a pass or fail ?

rolled up at a job this morning a bit late, due to some of them road works they dont really need to do, because they did em about 2 wk ago, ? , only to be met by this when i got to job site, the guy who done it asked me what is that cut called and would that be a NPTC pass or fail ? I just said its a go home cut that one and dont come back for at least 12 months, i think a carving course would be more in his line ,What do you guys think,,,

I bet that tree  was cut with a 10” bar, and then the metal dulled the toofs a bit. ?

he set off with a old 08s 20" bar trashed, that then had to finish off with 170 12" bar, and he wanted me to ring it up so he can put it in his boiler told him to weigh it in would be a better idea ,ringed top up but left bottom 5ft as staining was starting to show,

If there was any argument against why refresher training is necessary, this is it.

So easy to take the mick, once you start hitting crap in a trunk it can soon become a nightmare.

Maybe some suggestions on what he might have done once he started hitting the ironmongery.

Maybe (hopefully) the guy was having a laugh regarding the pass/fail question.

I don’t get it. Can’t see any metal foreign bodies in there. Still no excuse if he fecked the chain on a nail anyway surely
