Northern Arb ...... Please wake up .

Why oh why do you guys take sooooo long to deliver everyday gear  used in the industry ? 

Ive ordered gear from Italy and it arrived in 4 days .  So please explain why you cant or wont deliver my order of  Stihl Low Smoke  5 Litre  Two Stroke ........ its  nearly 14 days now     ........    come on    people .

 

I understand some of my order  may take a while to source ........but   no communication   at all .......   shite   service ....   

 

The Parent Company Saturn Knives ...... is ace   when we order blades ...... they get delivered   ?   please explain   .

I ordered some bits from northern arb (chains, gloves etc) and delivery was very fast. Out of interest do fuels and oils generally take longer to deliver? as I've never ordered any over the internet, I would imagine they would be a nightmare to ship.

ordered once from Saturn with no problems and once from Northern Arb again with no problems but man they get roasted on social media quite a lot for poor service.

You did better than we did. Placed order, paid for it, waited a fortnight before ringing up to be told that hey had none in stock and wouldn't have a production run within the next four to six weeks.

And NA  probably one in ten orders are satisfactory. They really need to get their house in order unfortunately.

I have a theory about businesses that are frequently discussed on forums:
Any forum will generally have a couple of guys on it who run businesses supplying stuff/services for whatever that forum is for. Anyone asking for recommendations for that service will be inundated by people saying how good they are. Some will be genuine but a lot will be parroting. A lot of people will also exaggerate how good the business is or omit truths about problems they’ve had with it.
I wonder whether the opposite is also true? Northern Arb get slated on here prodigiously. Perhaps they’re just a fashionable company to slate on this particular forum and actually there are loads equally bad?

P.S. I’ve had one dealing with Northern Arb and they delivered fine.

Odd - cos We order lots n they seem pretty spot on. Chain oil included, always see parcels in office n manager loves them -dunno , K

every time i order items which can be varied they are delivered quick and have it in stock never had problems with them

Unfortunately without knowing your order details it's difficult to provide you with an accurate answer as to why your order might ave taken long. As you can see from the other comment s, we serve thousands of customers without such issues. It's also interesting you have mentioned ordering from Italy....are other arb suppliers in the UK also out of stock? 

 

With regards to orders not received, we would strongly advise you to either ring or email us like most customers do. You might find it's also quicker to resolve your problems by contacting the suppler as supposed to getting answers from forums.
