actuaries who calculated the salaries and pensions of policemen with 25 years service at age 45 got their predictions wrong

So is an actuary one of those jobs that you get paid for, cock up and never have to accept any responsibility for doing it wrong?

Oh dear, my error going to cost millions, but it doesn't matter all the suckers can carry the can. :001_rolleyes:

They still have, but he's only seen passing at 60mph with lights flashing going somewhere else (probably for doughnuts)

Kebab/chippy where they normally to be seen here, unless it’s closing time on a Friday night of course.

We used to have a "local" rural copper, he was based 10 miles away in a fire station!

He used to come to the parish council meetings 4 times a year to tell us what had been going on in the area. The powers that be cut his over time, he still came in his own time, until the powers that be told him he couldn't use his work 4x4 to travel over here!

Hi guys , Thanks Wokfie for the offer but I am in Dorset , and someone has offered to to lend me a Mill and saw so I can at least get this western red milled for the job I am working on . We did have a rural crime copper come round but we weren’t there

That’s more than most get.. The law seems to be firmly on the side of the perp these days.
(I blame the madness of Brussels)
we got told by a H&S auditor that we had to make our place ‘safe’ for potential burglars as the HSE would prosecute US in the event of any injury sustained while breaking in to our premises.
I thought he was taking the mick.
I hope you get sorted mate.

That's partly true. They have got to find the body first.
