Thieving Lowlife

Working at Gt Finborough near Stowmarket on Monday this week. Signs out on the road, as we had a small amount of work to do out front near the main road. Come to collect signs at the end of the day and someone has pinched them. Sadly I can only presume another tree surgeon as who else wants Tree Cutting signs?  Shame to think that there is some lowlife thieving scum bag in our industry that's local......These were pretty much new 750mm high ones so not cheap. If anyone can shed any light on this you'll be rewarded. And if the thieving lowlife w*****r happens to read this you should be ashamed of yourself, what goes round comes round.....Lets hope for your sake you stay hidden in the gutter you crawled out of.....

It really funny you posted this ...I was working over last weekend and on my own just a chip and tidy up from previous days job...we all now know that we never leave our chainsaws etc in view or our front not even for a second. So 2 signs out at the front as was parked close to path...anyway I was working round the back and all of a sudden I had a funny thought bout my signs at the front so stoped and walked round,as I got nearer I saw a middle aged guy standing by my one sign looking around..then he saw me and ran off...needless to say signs folded up and around the back with the rest of my gear..FFS nothing is sacred anymore it’s just getting a f—-king joke now.

Were they the metal ones? If so probably nicked for scrap

Nope nice new roll up ones. Ok in the grand scheme of things it’s not a lot of money...£140ish but it’s just such a shitty thing to do.

Intuition is an amazing thing, pays to heed it. I worked for a guy who used "salvaged" "DangerElectricity!!" type signs for roadside tree and hedge work...we got some black looks from the ESB boys.
