Yeahs ago while ag contracting, it was often to far to make the long trip home worth while so you learned to sleep on, in or under the tractor and carry enough food to last a few days. The engine intake was good for warming food, the top of the engine for heating and the exhaust manifold would get a meat pie wrapped in foil to super heat.

Amazing where you can sleep when you need to. I know guys who have slept in chip bins of trucks overnight. (thats london rents for you)

So for the last 6 weeks been living in the van whilst yoyoing from home in Huddersfield to London and Canterbury.
Got 3 more days of milling in Kent then home for good!
Starting full time with the local council tree types on Monday [emoji3].
Get to see my family everyday[emoji4]
Will be nice to sleep in my own bed every night.

This is my first attempt at aerial pruning/pollarding,
No need for a harness as I was only 4feet off the ground. [emoji3]

Fun times in Margate[emoji106]

Got a few logs to mill [emoji3]

Have fun, stay safe.

Nice one. 6 weeks money and no digs to pay for should have helped the bank balance.

Paid off bills, rent sorted.
Last 2 weeks has been 6day weeks, so stayed down south.
I think the layer of sawdust up my nose is helping, can't smell anything. [emoji57]
Well I'd certainly recommend a larger van.
But it's great experience working with different people and kit, learn something new everyday.
Going to miss waking up in the woods though[emoji3]
