When I get a bandsaw it'll be the Logosol b751 or the b1001.

Really going about this tidy andy i must say, I have a machine down here that would be perfect to finish off those oak timbers ,Surplus by the looks as have just got the 24x 12 wadkin up to speed ,I have a sedgewick  12x 8 3 phase no longer required so will be available soon. Going to need that type of power supply if your going to run this big stuff

If I could have afforded it I would have went for the 1001, there is so much more you can add to it, saying that the 751 Pro can have a fair amount added now too. Logosol really hung the buyers of the first gen 751 out to dry, very disappointing.

There's a fully restored. Dominion 24" Planer round my way for sale. Looks to be a cracker, but I dont have the space or 3ph to run it.

The project in the book I bought is a 16 x 12 foot garage or workshop. Its a starter project that incorporates a lot of the basic joinery skills required in Timber Framing. The design is old American/early settlers and as such the timbers are left more 'rustic'. :D Will suit me fine for just now.

The Sedgwick sounds great though, pity I cant put it to good use or a good home.

Lets see a picture of your 24 x 12!
