Anyone reccommend a GOOD flask??

I know a guy thats got a cap with "Tea white with one sugar" on it, turns up in the morning points to his hat and the customer finds it so cheeky 9 times out of 10 they make him one.

 

He is from Manchester so he's got that cheeky thing down to a fine art

By the way - before you fill your stainless steel flask in the morning, fill it with, or at least rinse it round with boiling water. This heats the metal of the inner flask so the tea/coffee doesn't have to when it goes in.

On a dry domestic job, I often say to the client 'if my co worker asks for a cuppa,please excuse him,he is a cheeky so & so'!

9 times out of ten I get an imediate offer of brews,often with a laugh thrown in for good measure.

Best flasks I have found to keep stuff hot are the glass one's, but they dont last very long!

I do know what you mean. Some customers use the cuppa like a bartering system.

I got a couple of good, cheap, stainless flasks from IKEA when being dragged round there by she who must be obeyed lol I always give them a fill with boiling water first to match sure the flask is hot. My drink of choice is black tea with a few wedges of lemon, which is good on two counts, namely that I love it and the rest of the crew can't stand it, apart from Arbogrunt

I've just got a Thermos wide neck and so far so good, most of the regular customers are good with the brews and one or two even offer a cold beer in the summer did have one once said she was going out but had left kettle and tea in the laundry so we could brew up, she's left lap song pu shong think it was called spelt something like that never tasted anything as bad in me life

We sorted out a rotted, hung-up pop for the council the other week which would hit a garage either side if it rolled off the ash it was sitting on. The olds in both houses brought us tea all day, and at one one point we even had 2 cups each on the go

i dont bother with a flask i take my 'jet boil' or an 'msr' stove and brew up.

i promise you, they are the bizznizz. 4 mins and your on the go once you've got it down to fine art.

better still when the client comes out i play the deaf card, hand behind ear and shout "AYE LOVELY, MILK ONE SUGAR" - startling success rate.
