What they asking for that?

Not agreed a price yet which is why i asked big J. Woodlands is infected by Phytophthora so nothing can be removed unless it milled or de barked is my understanding and what i have been told.

Big J what is the price of larch road side at the moment please mate. Local woodland near me has some available but i have to collect and mill on site due to disease infection.

We're around £72-74/t down here at the moment for standard 3.7m material. More for bigger stuff.

Ponds are the  way forward, we have lost hundreds  of them in England. K

This site will be about 10-12 ponds richer by the time we're done. Average size 20ft x 15ft.

Interested in what Norway Spruce is at roadside these days. Got first refusal on a about 700-1000t.

Not sure on norway, but sitka is around £105/t roadside in your neck of the woods at the moment. Norway is usually a bit less.

FFS J £118 a tonne for Larch logs delivered in up here but all logs 300mm + i would be trying for another £15-£20 a tonne over next couple of loads if i was you J, you will not get stuck with it at the moment as timber is in very short supply, and sawn timber has taken a massive hike in price like 35% since December, i was going down M6 yesterday and so about 10 or 12 wagons loaded with sawn timber on from BSW at Carlisle,

£35 a tonne, have you been out over the week end with that window cleaner/tree sugeon/fencing contractor 😂😂😂 If you can get it a that price dont hesitate just buy it as you would make good money on it if it was just for firewood,

How are you cubing up a load spud. There is a load cut on the floor in my local woods and normally its marked up on the ends in width sizes and can cube from there by the length but all freshly cut and nothing marked up. I know some use different methods
