mRegarding the issue of helper springs for 3.5T tipper, I had them fitted to my new shape Iveco Daily single cab 3.5T tipper. They are excellent. OK, you bounce on speed bumps when empty. But that is a small price to pay for the ability to keep the drawbar at the same height with a full box of chippings on.

The original spec rings were totally inadequate, and the simple addition of a coil spring on each side between the top of the leaf spring and the underside of the chassis rail transformed things. Cost wasn't bad, and way cheaper than upgrading to Iveco heavy duty springs.

I think the cubic meter capacity being stated is a tad optimistic judging by the photos provided.

Yeah my guess is the box would be 1.9w by 1.6 long and maybe 1m high, but Im probably wrong because thats only 3 cube. 4 cube is heavy for a Dcab. Very cool set up though

Only 4x4 tipper that would fit everyone in and still do a days work is a landrover Defender 110 or 130

or ditch the 4x4 and get a transit or iveco crew cab tipper

can’t see any jap crew cabs being of any use as a tipper the body would be tiny and the over hanging would look like a pull

A 110 double cab tipper would be a smaller box than a jap crew cab tipper! - length of the 110 standard bed is under 1 meter, a double cab hilux for example is 1.5m.

A crew cab defender 130 bed is only 1.8 for reference - the same as a hilux king cab, which has about the same legroom in the back as the defender xD

Nice setup 5 Shires, works for you which is most important :thumbup1:
