The ability to turn up on time, not sir on your phone, keep my ropes clean, sharpen a chainsaw, carry lengths of wood so it doesn't have to be logged up on site, not some millienial butterfly, break a. Finger and want a week off work, be able to go to the pub after work and actually have some banter instead of sitting on a phone. Sorry that was more of a rant

I think good knowledge of knots is really impressive skill for a grounie to have, when I started this game 5 years ago my boss was a bit old school so I sought out to learn new techniques and got quite interesting in my knots and when there was an opportunity to save time and use a 3-1 or knowing exactly how to set up a rigging system on my own. I think makes your climber very impressed :)

How does this work with insurance? I was told that if I had an accident my insurance would be null and void if I didn't have a trained rescuer. I have a lad who is very competent using a chainsaw but has no chainsaw ticket and is not a climber. where does your insurance stand on using him as opposed to a fully qualified subbie?

Thanks

What insurance? Public liability or personal injury?
