Yes there would, they would be the good ones.

If you were to take up any profession with the same enthusiasm with which you offer your opinions then you would be very successful.

I’ve been watching YouTube videos of open heart surgery, hours and hours of them, I’ve read a couple articles too.

Ive now ordered some scalpels and a suture kit.

Who wants to be my first patient? It don’t look that hard :D

A gardener with a rope........ proud of it.

And, Mr Bullman, how does one quote a job?...    climber for the day? groundie for the day..  everything else is all about the aggro of doin it, shifting it...

No its not. Where does the money for buying the truck, chipper, saws, ropes, harnesses etc come from? what about the advertising, and repair bills. What about the time and fuel taking of an evening and weekend pricing jobs, sending invoices, chasing late payers?

You'd last about a week in the game pricing at wages plus disposal costs. Gardener with a rope rocking up for £15 an hour is a different world and is no comparison

can we set up a go fund me to ship vespasian over there to carry out the work, and a cameraman to document the incident?
Might get our money back from youve been been framed!

It'd be pretty boring though wouldn't it.... a pair of ladders lent up against a tree and me chainsawing through two parts of the tree..  Its easy as eating a meat pie...   Buckin billy has learned me everything..

Vesp,
youve been on this forum long enough to have read about the tragic and fatal consequences of chainsaws and trees.
If it was easy, why do we pay fortunes for training and exams , insurance and protective gear?

I said it was easy, I don't why that means I said it wasn't dangerous..   it can be dangerous, but most tree surgeons don't think it is, otherwise they'd be doing something else...

as to spending on training, I haven't spent a penny to date, no intention of doing that at my age...  I can see why its required in this day an age.  But its not exactly necessary if you know what your doin and you apply a little common sense..

How many on this site had to do all this training to get into tree work, I suggest none of the older ones...  this is a tree, I want it chopping down.    get in said tree and learn as you go..   its what I did.. and still do.

On the other hand, if I employed someone it would be different, but I don't employ anyone and if I do I make sure as hell I take all the risks...
