We usually have some at that stage in early November!  They're fine though; they stop when the temperature drops and just pick up again where they left off in spring.

 

I'd worry if I didn't see daff shoots before Christmas.

Def balmy in Suffolk at mo visiting in-laws after -8 in Aberdeenshire, where when we left the yard was polished ice and lethal, prob the same when we get home



No need to panic I avoided the bear traps and navigated the punji stick pits to grit the yard for your return
