Hahahaha yeah I remember all of those. Just gives the whole industry a bad name. I still go a price jobs for some of our elderly generation who try and pay for my fuel or pay a deposit on the Work and it breaks my heart as you know that there are a lot of bad ones out there which would snap there hands off. Why would a Tree surgeon need a a deposit for anything as the out lay has already been doting the equipment

My 93 year old Dad got shafted . Dead tree in the garden , I offered to remove it for free of course but said its not a problem to leave it .  Small ornamental thing about 6 inches at the base .  Would take 10 mins tops . Strait in the chipper in a oneer We agreed to leave it . Next Time I visited there was dead brash every where pots knocked over and a stump . Dad hade been relieved of 275 quid .  They banged on the door apparently and said it was highly dangerous and needed to do an emergency removal . ( they saw it when cutting next doors hedge ) . I was ticking for weeks over that .
