Which mower to buy?

I need it to do both ideally. Some of the customers don't want to pay for a regular cut but like it short. The best mulcher in the world couldn't make it tidy because the way the lawn is maintained is all wrong.

The customer is always right, even when they're not!

In this case you can fly over the lawn twice to take it down in stages not letting the mower be greedy it’s just as quick as bagging off by the time you’ve stop started and emptied the bag a few times and the end result is still a cracking finish.

We run John Deere r54vb great mower but don’t mulch. We collected all are lawn and stripe everything.

The landscaper I sub to is currently swapping all his John Deere r54rkb for the Kubota w819r as it's so much better. I've used both quite a bit and the Kubota out cuts the Deere in every situation and despite the fact it has a 19" deck instead of the 21" on the Deere it's faster, just picks up and packs the grass better, can barely lift the bag when it's full. Can certainly cut a much larger area on a single bag with the Kubota compared to the deere

There is no clutch, it's a hydro box. You sure its not just the return spring on the gearbox control arm that has failed?  Quite common, and they modified them at some point for this reason.  So if you replace it, it'll probably come as a mod kit containing new spring, arm, and pin,

Oh so you can get a mod kit for it, I'll see how much they are and see if its worth it.. as it is I've sort got use to it.. so it might depend on how much it is..
