Stubby every year some hero trots this old shite out, until they work in Northumbrian sleet.
It's alright in this weather, but the 'I've never seen a rusty man' and 'skin is waterproof' brigade just sound like a load of tits when it's wet and near freezing.
They're probably first in the van because they haven't invested in decent clobber.

I say, overall, its a good value for money jacket.... and its bright so is good for roadside work.

The only downsides I've found is that the hood is enormous, very enormous - but i have a little head (no further comments about that please Mr Bolam!)

The pit zips are great but unfortunately the pit zips aren't as strong as all of the other zips on the jacket.... they tend to catch/ get stuck too easy and one of mine was a bit crap in operation from day one.

The material seems strong and long lasting.... and mine hasn't leaked yet. Had it about a year now.

cheers, steve

p.s.... agree with what Joe says above. Basically, if you are really going for it then you'll get hot and sweaty. So the question is; Do you want to wear the SIP and be hot and sweaty or don't wear the jacket and get cold and wet?!
