Mobile phone contracts

I've had my phone contract with 02 for as long as I can remember. I was paying between £40-50/month by DD. I did away with it last month and swapped to one of their pay as you go 'Bundles'. This month I've spent £7, no change in how much I use the phone. I must have wasted thousands of pounds over the years.:001_rolleyes:

Hi on o2 here but on a sim only deal unlimited texts unlimited minutes and 5 gig of internet use (which I never get any where near the limit) £13.50 a month and bet a new phone every 2 yrs of my daughter.

most of very thing this day and age they rely on people with no capital in example most people haven't got like £700 pound spare just to buy a mobile phone but they got to have it as its the latest model and keep up there flash image status to of they go to like of a phone shop yes you can have that phone you want for £45 pound a month over a 24 month contract is over a £1000 pound for the 2 years. In the call and data and that you get you could easy get for for 15 pound a month sim only deal for same amount of time and the rest of it so in reality there not doing you a favor/ giving you a deal as your paying for the phone but just over 24 months

o2 have now changed how they supply phones and contracts for business users. You have 2 contracts with them, one being an interest free loan for the purchase of the handset and the other being the airtime contract. I think I pay a combined £50 a month with £27 of that paying for the handset. o2 do it like that as you could set the phone part to change handsets every 12 months or even 36 months or bring your own handset but all airtime contracts are 24 month.

I have just got the same deal Kev, £48 A month to cover £30 to buy the phone intrest free over 2 yrs and £18 airtime on a business deal. Not bothered about £500 a year for a high end phone, it's a business tool and goes against tax.

Changed again:001_rolleyes:

I didn't do my homework properly. I didn't realise that I couldn't tether my iPad on the PAYG deal.

New deal as doubled'ish the price.

£15/month for unlimited calls, texts and 6 GB of data which is plenty for me when I'm out and about.

Still a good saving on my original contract.
