Fancied getting some sea air so spent the day at Brighton today as its got atmosphere & is usually a laugh. There was a tattoo convention so some stranger than normal sights were to behold. Anywhere near you that attracts...bohemians?

Used to live near Hebden Bridge, West Yorks - The hippy retreat of the twentieth century.

Tree felling was viewed on a par with fox hunting and seal clubbing, but they all burnt logs:confused1:

There used to be a resident parrot, in a local pub, which had a regular habit of falling off it's perch, cos is was stoned by the locals 'herbal cigarettes'. Back when you could smoke in pubs.

For such a peace loving community they could be pretty belligerent. We got told to leave a site, by the police, because a crowd of them didn't want the work going on.

Police weren't particularly concerned that they were trespassing, just that there was thirty of them and three of us - so we had to go:lol:

Evil place...

Haha, I went to boarding school near there. Remember lots of parties in the woods with "herbal cigarettes".

Etc.. Crazy thing was, the teachers used to go to them as well [emoji33][emoji265][emoji266][emoji274][emoji91][emoji381][emoji382][emoji377]
