Best blower?

What's recommended?

 

Thinking of echo, any experience?

My 4mix bg500 backpack blower gave up recently. I couldn't bring myself to fork out €850 or so for a bg700, so got an echo backpack for €500. 3 year guarantee. It's only a blower so I swallowed my prejudice.

 

Seems ok. It blows good, that's all I ask of it.

The stihl bg86 is a very powerful hand blower. I also invested in echo back pack blower they are heavier than the Stihl ones but very capable

The echo hand held is a left hander if you're looking for another hand held

Personally we use br 430's.

Has to be the husqvarna 525BX for me. Handle is inline with the outlet so you don't get aches in your wrist if your using it longer periods unlike any of the stihl machines. Really low vibration to 1.2m/s again much lower than the stihl. If you get any of the other 525 husqy kit it all uses the same engine so same filters etc.

Much as I love Echo, I don't rate their hand blowers. Just not a patch on Stihl for air flow. Currently have a Tanaka, not bad at all.

Just brought Echo PB500 backpack blower, happy so far, plenty of puff even on wet grass!

Thinking of hand held, as easier to sling om truck and generally move about. Price also better

 

Any other brands worth a pop?anyone with dolmar/makita Hitachi etc?
