actually i meant how does the hayfever affect you.

Fuzzy head is the worse scenario for me , especially on an arduous rigging day .

weeping eyes ....... snotty nose ... constantly clearing snot and blowing my nose ....

Loratadine 10mg tab ..... always sort this out . Just don,t abuse it .

I will try my best to avoid this chemical therapy . It has its place ...because it works :001_cool:

I had suffered with hayfever really badly since a child, and was getting worse year after year, and it just became bloody miserable and depressing in the end.

All the drugs didn't work eventually.

I ended up on the strongest stuff you can take for hayfever (can't remember the name of the stuff)

I started getting breathing problems with it, so was sent to see the local asthma nurse, she got me to try something that has totally changed my life.

As soon as you get in from work get straight in the bath or shower and put on all clean clothes, and all your clothes, towels and especially your bed sheets should be dried inside.

I now take a spoon of local honey every day, and if things get worse (which is very rare) I have an homedics pollen filter and sometimes use haymax.

Those few things have made such a huge difference, I haven't taken any drugs for 2 years now.

I think the biggest thing was drying the bedsheets and clothes in the house, they act like a huge pollen filter when hanging on the line.

Got to be worth a try.

Are you sure this is not a sawdust allergy ?. For some years I suffered from what I thought was hay fever then one year I processed almost nothing and was only affected when processing and for a few days after.

A

It's only in summer so I'm reasonably sure it's hay fever

Anyone else suffer with this? Been getting it worse and worse the past few years. Don't have running nose etc etc, but what i do get is very short of breath. Particularly bad this year, not sure if its the rape thats about or just everything. Wondering if theres anything over the counter people take for this sort of thing? yes I know I should see a doctor, but too busy!!

I got really bad hay-fever about 2 years ago at 29! My eyes were getting blisters on them and I was itchy and very irritable to the point I didn't want to climb, work, or do anything.

Tree pollen really affected me bad in the spring especially Hornbeam.

Over the counter anti histimines didn't work for me.

Went to the docs and got prescribed Fexofenadine hydrochloride!

The stuff is amazing drop one in the morning and no problems I do this every spring now for about a month until the tree pollen is gone.
