Hi does any one know why on a Avant 528 the hydraulic cooling fan is on all the time? Not had a chance to look at it yet, so just thought I'd ask.

What splitter have you got? pick them up with grab and put on splitter maybe an option. 

Got there eventually.. made a table up outa old scaffold..

Hi mate. It should not come on unless oil temperature is hot enough. Sounds like the temp sender is faulty. It's screwed into the hydraulic tank, usually on the breather

I have only heard mine come in once and that was working it hard building a track with the machine going none stop for hours.

Has it got sufficient oil in the tank? Too little oil will soon lead to the oil getting hot.

I appreciate I am picking up a very old thread here.  I am consider a medium sized loader, its main requirements will be:

1) stack grain sacks of logs, two high one on top of the other.

2) have enough pump power to drive a front mounted grass cutting flail for large areas of 'twice a year' rough grass cutting.

 

I am currently considering an Avant 500 or 700, because we have a local dealer that will offer a 5 year guarantee.

 

Are there any alternatives I should consider or feedback I should receive regarding the tasks above?

How heavy is a grain sack of logs?

I’ve run a 750 with a flail, wouldn’t really want anything smaller for that job.

If the dealer is close to you, and he has a good rep, go for it.

Multione is a very similar machine (I’ve had 3 of them)
