new business years resolutions?

The fact that customers are often after something for nothing is a never ending affair. Like most contractors I get it all the time, usually the customer will ask an employee instead of me, but that doesn't work neither as my lads are well briefed as to the why's and wherefores of customers.

They will keep coming out of the house, after watching you closely with one more little job after another, and seem shell shocked that it's going to cost them extra.

An old trick of course is they bring out tea and biscuits then before you've finished stirring it,they come out with another 'can you just' .

I just resent being taken for a mug at every other job we turn up at.

Haha eggs. You misunderstand me. I have no problems paying tax, but for some years now I I've been ill advised by my account, resulting in an astronomical(to me) tax bill this year that could have been avoided somewhat. My accountants been working for the tax man and not me.
