Plant enamel I would guess, Nuffield orange temac would be my choice assuming your on about metal casings

 

Plastic is another issue though as you have to use plastic primers first so would opt for 2k paints as you would on a car bumper..

As title, what would be the most hard wearing paint to use for painting a chainsaw please?

The best I have used is some brake caliper paint on an old villiers chainsaw.

It can take the heat, dirt and oil.

 

Needs a bit of prep. I borrowed mine but I know it isn't cheap.

 

Don't know about Blue! have seen .....Red, Yellow even Orange (Danarm)
