This as been a very interesting thread.

I'm amazed by people attitudes to an end user of their product, l don't think TK's exspections are unreasonable. I would have expected people to be appalled by the poor product that he has been supplied, but no its as though crap, poor burning timber, in an undefinable quantity is to be exspected and he should be grateful.

I'm often surprised by by how many people report not being paid or slow payment, given the general attitude of this thread I'm beginning to understand.

It sounds like TK has had poor quality logs, but why not say where he's based, no one wants an address, just a rough location, (Not, I'm in Essex, near to Heartfordshire, around London way), so that some one could give him a price for their logs?

I just don't get it.

There is no way in 20yr he has not found a reliable supplier, there are probably more kiln dried firewood produces in the UK that at any time in history.

The competition in the firewood industry is so fierce that anyone trying to sell a substandard product is destined for failure and the sooner the better,

Why are you so fixated by this :confused1:

I would have expected decent suppliers to simply state how poor it is that he's been supplied such poor product and how they always produce good quality product and have happy customers.

Its been more a case of many alining themselves with the suppliers of the poor product and suggesting that KT is unreasonable for expecting better.

People suggesting he seasons his own:confused1: why? If logs are sold as seasoned or ready to burn thats what they should be, it not exactly rocket science. If you can't guarantee seasoned logs, sell them as unseasoned or "dry your own" its pretty simple.

Given the hostility on this thread I not surprised TK has not wanted to give his address and why should he.
