Mick..I think i can see "Stihl" on 1 chain . Are they both a Stihl chain ..3/8 pico ? 1/4 ......? dont know what you like on your saws .

Yes they're stihl chains, I don't really ask for a specific sort but yesterday I asked for ones with the little lines on the top plate, they help me sharpen.

 

Normally they give me Carlton.

 

Here's the boxes they came in, might help. Although I don't know which is which now!

What would help explain is a picture of the other side of each type of tooth.
